Knitting again!
I’d gotten mired all Spring in gift knitting that (at DK gauge and given my knitting time recently) ended up lasting for months. Once that was wrapping up, I bought two skeins of this blue yarn on a whim on a Sunday afternoon trip to Wallingford in June, and cast on for a simple v-neck Sirdar pattern with a broken rib pattern. I love the yarn, love the easy pattern, and love the blue with the sunflowers (still going strong from the farmers market bday bouquet).
While I work on the back, I’ve been debating changing the front from a pullover v-neck to a pea-coat style double row of bright yellow buttons. Seeing this with the sunflowers is another vote for a button-friendly front. Here’s a shot of the “wrong side” since it’s pretty, too:
