Tomatoes!
The tomato plant actually produced, and some of those green fruits actually ripened!
I was so delighted – our yard isn’t really hot or sunny enough for happy tomatoes. But four from one plant counts as a banner year! These photos were taken right before the harvest, and then we took them inside for a havarti with dill and fresh tomato sandwich feast. It was delicious.
